"It was super close to the Shinsaibashi Dotonbori area, and a 5-15 minute Luup (scooter) ride away from most points of interest around town. Very clean, contemporary, basic, but with all the amenities you need in case you forgot your tooth brush, comb or even packaged qtips, nice bed, good adjustable ac, and tons of shops and restaurants within a short walk. "

"Really special little apartment in Shibuya. Not a far walk from Shibuya station and Google Maps will bring you to the apartment easily. It is on a slopey part of Shibuya so walking from Shibuya station to the apartment with luggages can be a bit tiring up the slopes. The apartment itself is small but they managed to squeeze in 6 beds and a very spacious toilet/shower/laundry area. We did have to close up our luggages and store it in between the beds at night so that there is space to sit around...

"Although there are beds enough for 4, room is much smaller than it looks in photos. Bathroom is cruise-ship sized with no space to move. OK for petite sized guest but larger folks would find it challenging. In nice, quieter neighborhood with walking distance to train station (note: station is for toei skytree line, not metro). Check-in/out was smooth and easy, all done online. Suitable for short stay or those that don't mind compact living. "

"The first thing you should know is that this is not a hotel. It's an apartment with two flats, one on the second floor and one on the third floor, above a storefront about half way between the Ueno and Asakusa stations. That said, it's not bad as a rental apartment, and was a good fill-in for us when our Air BnB booking was cancelled on short notice. All of the communication with the owner was via the Expedia site - we never met anyone in person, but got check-in instructions via messages...
