"Arrived about 5 hours early before check-in. Even with the craziness of the holiday weekend, they were able to get me checked in 3 hours earlier than anticipated. The doorknob lock left us a little concerned, also daylight could be seen coming through from around the door. "This is a quaint little Inn on the lakefront. Amenities were good, staff was awesome, breakfast good and convenient. We usually stay in hotels which are more updated with larger rooms. "The location is awesome. Shepler’s ferry and downtown Mackinaw are less than a mile walk from the hotel, and it’s an easy walk. The state park lake shore and fort are a five minute walk.
