"We were here Easter week. Front desk was awesome! Upgraded our room upon arrival. Our room was ready early. The food at the restaurant , fish tacos, delicious. Restaurant service excellent. We didn’t do the Easter Brunch because it was unreasonably priced. A breakfast for four would have been the same as three nights stay. If the price were lower, we would have dined there for Easter. The area around hotel was not great. The boardwalk area was dirty and sketchy. We spent time at La Jolla instead. The hotel itself was cute. The outdoor food truck was very good! "

"The staff is kind and friendly. Front desk was super helpful. Our first room had a leaking sink, so we were upgraded to an ocean front room. The desk wiggled and was clearly unstable. The shower is so low that I re-injured my back. It is nice to be ocean front, but the price is not reflective of the hotel. "

"We booked a 2 night stay over spring break and the only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We had the best experience staying at the beach cottages. Excellent location, the staff was very friendly and being able to text them if we needed anything was great! We will 100% be booking there again! "

"Perfect location, spacious room, great view of the ocean and efficient, friendly staff. Close to lots of restaurants, pubs and bars. Needs a little TLC and updating: old furniture and very old carpets. Gym is very much sub-par, hidden in the basement where the parking garage is. Disappointing."

"This place is perfect. For starters the staff is AMAZING! Our room and view was perfect. Room was very clean and we were provided all the essentials needed. They offer room service everyday which is great. There are so many restaurants, bars, stores were you can all walk to.... They offer free beach towels and beach chairs which were super helpful for out of town visitors like us. They have a nice fire place were you can sit and relax. "

"Excellent and everything was amazing and would definitely stay here again! Just wish there was a gym on sight but running or biking on the boardwalk is just fine too! "
