"Our state was very nice. No problems. Just to be aware that this is not the touristy part of town. With no offense meant, we were the only white couple. We saw the whole time in this area. Everyone was smiling and friendly. No problem whatsoever with the locals they were very welcoming!"

"Walking distance to pier to outer islands. Also night market and boardwalk. Good central location. Ask for alley side not Main Street side due to traffic noise. Staff was very nice. WiFi was strong. "

"Great location at Gaya Street with night market & morning market selling many interesting foodstuffs and wares. Convenient as many dining shops nearby with Chinese, Malay & Western food easily available. Hotel is clean & eco-friendly with hospitable staff. Will definitely stay here again."
