Khách sạn Upper Rissington

"Staff very friendly and welcoming. Continental breakfast was very basic. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Restaurant service was slow at times. Ideal location for a stay in the Cotswolds."

"Staff were polite and courteous and gave us a room upgrade on arrival which was unexpected but very nice. Large room, clean with a nice big bathroom, room was nice and warm and had all the amenitrequired for a short stay. Breakfast was very good with quality ingredients, overall it was a very good stay and I would not hesitate to return."

"Beautiful property. We were upgraded to a cottage which was lovely. Had a wonderful stay. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Loved the staff"

"Fantastic stay in the cottage - immaculately presented room with loads of space and a very nice selection of snacks. The staff in the Inn were incredibly welcoming and made for a totally relaxed break. Food at dinner and breakfast was delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough"

"Wonderful small hotel with a big heart! The best impression was the personal touch. The note they leave on your bed, the list of locally supplied ingredients with a map! Clean rooms, cozy atmosphere and the best food! I have to praise Olie (I hope I got the name right), he was so helpful, calm and patient. 10/10 hotel 10/10 location 11/10 food"

"Loft room was more spacious than expected. Staff were friendly and helpful. A nice base in the Cotswolds"

"La nostra camera era piccolina ma molto carina, una tipica camera di una locanda inglese ma curata e modernizzata. Atmosfera molto bella e suggestiva, abbiamo provato anche il ristorante (caro ma buono). Macchina parcheggiata ad un minuto di distanza dalla struttura (parcheggio gratuito notturno e fino a 2 ore al giorno)."

"Initially booked a two night stay but cut this short to one night after a horrid experience. We stayed here during the height of the 2026 summer heat wave. The hotel DID have air conditioning, but there was a sign in the room essentially stating that it was broken / deactivated. Upon speaking to the unbothered reception staff, it was discovered that the hotel once had air conditioning, but it had broken years ago and wouldn't be repaired. The room was stiflingly hot. In addition to this, the...

"A wonderful old pub in a fantastic location just off the main street going through Burford. A lovely room which we enjoyed, but the staff just felt a but distant, making errors with drinks. Food presentation lacked flair and lacked imagination. In summary, a great room but eat elsewhere to enjoy it best."

"The best! Want to go back already!"

"Nice location and property"

"The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The team were helpful. Unfortunately in our room (5) you could hear the neighbouring bathroom. Breakfast was OK but could be improved with fruit and a variety of bread being readily available."

"Amazing stay in the heart of Burford!"

"Traditional Cotswold inn with long horseracing heritage. Local stable staff and trainers are regulars. Wood burning stove and bustling evening business gives atmosphere. Well presented restaurant food. Rooms quiet. Dog friendly. Great location for Cotswold hiking, and Cleeve Hill. Staff go extra mile"
