"We stayed here because it is a 2 min walk to the Lowry. The metro brought us straight to the hotel from Manchester Picadilly, just 1 min walk. The reception and bar staff were very friendly. The breakfast was good value for the cost and the breakfast staff were exceptional. The bedroom was extremely clean and tidy and the beds were comfy. "

"This property was perfect for our needs, working at a conference in the city. We arrived 9pm and left early both days, so just needed a place to sleep. Private carpark round the rear of property. Close to metro (tram) stop and an easy 20 minutes by car from the city centre (less for Salford Quays or Old Trafford). Apart from check-in we never saw anyone during our weekend stay. Host was contactable by mobile if we needed (which we didn't). Self service breakfast provided (cereals) as under new...

"Room was clean and beds comfortable. Shower didn't work properly as the temperature tap was broken (not the heat limiter that they also apparently have on all showers, ours couldn't get colder either). Overall for the price it's great value for money, and had we been staying longer than a night I'm sure the shower issue would have been sorted by staff. "

Breakfast was cooked to perfection and although it was very tasty would be good to have more choice especially for the price, e.g yogurt, pastries, fresh fruit and maybe something like an omelette instead of full english but thats just personal choice! "Started with an easy and friendly check in with Ben. He gave me good advice of local places and how to get to the Lowry with the shortcut. Hotel room was clean, neat and clearly quite new. I slept very well. Perfect firmness of the mattress. Check was easy. Very convenient location with lots of food places nearby and good transport links. "
