"The breakfast was really good as was the lady that served us. The room was nice and big although in need of decorating with ripped off wallpaper and holes in the bathroom, plus the TV didn't work, which I presume the guy behind the bar knew as he didn't seem interested when we told him. All in all a good stay, worth what we paid."

On arrival they had all the details but initially told me breakfast was not included and had to show her my booking.on the ohone. We then got to the room it was just one bed. I went back to reception and was told that was all that was available and "Expedia shouldn't let me book a room that is unavilable". Nothing she could do to help. Only when I insisted they were going to have to provide a refund did she manage to...

"We enjoyed our stay at Makeney Hall. The first night we arrived late and the couch pull out bed had no sheets or blankets. The front desk staff was very kind and went and found what we needed and we were very grateful. The room was nice size and the grounds were very beautiful."
