"Absolutely great stay… called after booking to ask about check in as we were at an event in town and would be there before check in and maybe late back… could not fault the response from Brian and his team… absolutely superb service. Rooms are functional and represented excellent value for money. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely. If you are after a no frills excellent value for money stay with friendly landlord then you won’t go far wrong. "

"It's very close to some of the Iron bridge attractions, close to the river Severn, and within fairly easy walking distance to the town centre. The room we had was a family room, so more than big enough for us. There was no air conditioning, but a large ceiling fan kept the room cool . Food in the restaurant was excellent. "

"Excellent bar downstairs which was very clean and looked very attractive. Room itself was quirky and large. Had everything needed , warm , comfortable although only thing I didn’t care for was the pillows. A little too hard for me but everybody is different We didn’t eat in hotel as we were meeting with friends but looked very nice . "

"Unfortunately I had eaten enroute so did not dine in the nicely furnished olde style pub which took orders until 20.30 but, despite my 20.20 arrival I was given opportunity to eat. The bed was very comfortable. An armchairxwas provided in addition to a chair."
