"Hotel was nice, a big entrance leading into a big bar and seating area which was a bit busy and loud at times when lots of people. Room was clean and spacious and great choices for breakfast, again very spacious. A convenient stay but felt this was more suited for business meetings and conference gatherings rather than a typical run of the mill hotels."

"Another fantastic stay at Moat House for my parents, who simply won't stay anywhere else when they're visiting the area! The whole team were phenomenal from start to finish. "As with the Z Hotel Piccadilly, this hotel was great in all but one way: air conditioning and ice! It’s hot in the summer, friends — and it’s only going to get hotter! That means you should significantly upgrade your air-conditioning system as soon as you can; the current one is simply not up to the job. "Fabulous stay for our son’s graduation. We had three rooms ours (no5) definitely the best. Great value for money with breakfast included. We ate in the restaurant too and the food was definitely, breakfast included the morning was tasty too. Staff friendly, helpful and attentive."

"Hotel is a little dated but room and bathroom were very clean. Fan was provided so temperature was comfortable. Room spacious and will be great if you have dogs. Bed relatively comfortable. Minor gripe is that the shower gel was very watered down so no use really. Other than that it’s a good budget option for this location and I would definitely stay there again."
