The bed was amazing and I could have sat looking out of the window the whole time I was there. A stunning location that is central to many wonderful places and the most amazing scenery. "5 stars are not enough for the George and Dragon - the absolute best care and hospitality can be found here! Such a gem in a beautiful village with so much history. All the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious and generous portions. Only place open for dinner in the evening so be sure to reserve! Highly highly recommend. "
"I had a wonderful overnight stay here. The room was lovely, ver quiet with beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. I did use the spa which was at extra cost but it was lovely and relaxing. I opted for the fine dining in the evening and it was outstanding. Breakfast was included and the menu had plenty of options from continental to freshly prepared hot options.The staff were very helpful and friendly- I will certainly rebut for a longer visit. "
"Excellent stay. Surprised it was only 2 and a half star. Room was excellent and clean. All staff were so nice but a special shout out to Lauren (I hope I spelt that right) who was on her feet working and tidying from late at night and up working first thing in the morning. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and was a very nice lady to talk to always making sure we were settled and happy, and we only stayed for one night sadly. We will definitely come back soon. "

"For a first trip by myself definitely felt safe and comfortable. Staff were amazing, so friendly there was always a good atmosphere. Spacious and clean room and bathroom. No parking but two carparks in walking distance can top up on a morning. Option to come and go from side gate so can avoid being in the way when pub is busy.

"The pub is situated in peaceful countryside and is in a great location.
The proprietors were so welcoming and kind, helping me to my room with my luggage. My room was comfortable, nicely decorated and the bathroom clean with nice toiletries.
The food in the pub was good, and the service was friendly and efficient.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and would certainly stay there again if I’m in the area."
