Lovely stay, very helpful owners and right in the heart of the bay!
Great food options literally on your doorstep and a great place for near Durdle Door.
Highly recommend!
The property has a wonderful location. The room we stayed in needs some TLC particularly in the bathroom.
It is a quirky place full of character and hosted by nice people.
Superb location in beautiful Lulworth Cove. Rooms in old family house, loads of character. Gorgeous garden with pool overlooking the cove. Delicious breakfast!
Parking: there is no parking on-site. The Hotel will provide a private Internet Link where you can Register for nearby Parking (100 meters away) at £3 per day. We used this and it was OK. Beaches and other scenic Sites are just a walk-away. Local Buses available for multiple destinations. Local Pub food excellent. We loved our stay.

Family home not a hotel!! Key point!!
Super friendly people. Very helpful and chilled.
Some communal areas needed a spring clean.
Pool is lovely but not heated which is a shame.
Location is unreal. Ice cream to die for!!
What a find! For some reason it didn’t quite click that the hotel was literally on Lulworth Cove until we got there. Gorgeous views, lovely swimming pool which we had to ourselves every time we used it and lovely Lulworth Cove beach just a minute’s walk away. Nice cafes and pubs all within a few minute’s walk so once the car was parked in the public car park just down the road it didn’t move till we left. Owners and staff all lovely people. We will be back next year.
Stunning views but the accommodation was sadly below standard for the cost
No tv no wifi loose toilet seat loads of cobwebs and spiders.
Breakfast was ok
Staff friendly
We were unable to stay at this facility due to illness incurred on our trip . However, this understanding and workable business allowed us to obtain a refund for half the stay . Thank you ever so much . You have a perfect location for the outstanding area of West Lulworth. Again very grateful for your kindness

Average service with my payment
Hotel stay was good but we were 3 including my 2 year old kid and I paid extra 40 to hambury room eventhough we were not using too much energy and any of the extra bed. We enjoyed the breakfast very well. The pool which was allowed was not at all clean and we can’t even use it may be because off season they didn’t managed to clean. The wifi was not working on the first day and later we need to remind them the next day and she didn’t even bother to ask whether it is ok or not.

Pros:
-hosts were absolutely lovely, accommodating, friendly and very welcoming, cannot fault them at all.
-beautiful scenery around the cove
-VERY comfortable large bed
- lovely full English breakfast
- really good powerful shower in our room
Cons:
- swimming pool was green along the bottom and did not look very inviting so avoided using it.
- local restaurants had bad reviews and didn't look good for food at all so had to drive 20 minutes out to get a nice dinner
-our bedding had a yellow stain on the sheets and there were flies flying round the entrance hall when we arrived, so didn't feel overly clean in general
-the whole place feels like it could do with a bit of money spent on a revamp, to modernise everything, especially the pool area, as it's such a beautiful location it could do with updating.
.. I can imagine if it was all redone outside with a nice bar area, modern patio and sun loungers with parasols, it would go down very well with guests and people would travel for miles to stay and use it!
Over all it was a nice stay and I think the hosts are just so lovely, they make it what it is and make it feel like a homely place to be!
- Water gets dangerously hot, like it will burn you (well over the industry standard 60c)
- Not very clean, there is a tray in the room that’s covered in mess, the side of the table is all pulled away.
- Not very happy with the condition of the room to the cost.
- Toilet seat kept coming off.
- When we arrived the manager was telling us when hadn’t paid, when we had..Not the welcoming you want.
- Radiator was never on so put towels were still wet and never dry.
- Great if you want to be a 2 min walk from the cove, not so great if you want what you’re paying for.

The cottage is in a prime location and has great views of Lulworth Cove. The cottage is just very tired looking inside and out. The accommodation is shared with the family owners who reside on the top floor, but do make use of all other areas of the cottage, including the communal TV, Bar and games room. The pool was available, but also looks tired and needs a good clean as the water was murky. We stayed in the boat house, which is seperate from the main building and both double beds within were very comfy with nice bed linen, ensuring a good nights sleep. Again, inside the boat house the creature comforts were just not up to a high standard, with the TV not able to pick up any Guest wifi, the paintwork not at a high level, the bathroom flooring was all water stained and bath panel coming away. Also the curtain (not curtains) in the bedroom overlooking the cove would not shut properly, so people walking around the pool area could see into our room, as there was only one curtain on the pole, which let in light both sides of the curtain when shut.
That said, the cottage is a lovely place to stay, with the family being very welcoming and nice to talk to. The breakfast was of a great standard and the speed of getting your breakfast was very good. The honesty bar is well stocked and is a nice touch if you fancy a couple of drinks and a game of darts.
The cottage is beautiful, it just needs some money spent and some TLC.
An amazing time with the most beautiful views over the bay especially to watch sunrise. Perfect location to go for walks to durdle door. Special memories made here.
Would definitely recommend.
