Not a bad hotel overall. Good check in, room was spacious and clean. Comfy bed, decent powerful shower. Dinner was very good and service quite fast considering the number of people dining in the restaurant (bridge night filled it up). Would stay again

Unfortunately although the staff at the hotel were lovely they were very understaffed so rushed off their feet. The actual accommodation etc was very tired and in desperate need of updating. We had a lovely large room in a separate little building (4 rooms?) and so was really quiet and peaceful, although incredibly dark as the vegetation was very over grown. The hotel was very well situated, it was just a shame that it desperately needed renovating.

Awesome place, big rooms with all the bits you need for a weekend stay, great breakfast which set me up for the day, for me the only downside was the soft mattress, tho I do like mine hard.
