"The Thames Head Inn is a great gem. It's about a 1 mile walk from the Kemble train station, I walked alongside the road since taxi service is scarce and had no problems. There aren't any other businesses nearby, so I ate dinner there as well (delicious) and paid for breakfast the next morning (also delicious). I hiked to the nearby source of the River Thames, which was neat to see. The room was clean, had a blackout curtain, and a private bathroom. The area was quiet overall and I didn't have...
"We (my two adult daughters and myself) just came back from a 12 night stay in the UK. We went to 9 hotels, and this was our favorite! It was so quiet and peaceful there with no outside noise. The setting was beautiful with lots of outside dining spaces. The rooms were nice and the staff was super sweet. Breakfast was amazing with large, cook to order options. We would definitely come back and stay again!"

"Fabulous location a short drive or park & ride bus from the city centre. Lovely setting and well maintained. Staff were friendly and happy to assist. Food was lovely, with a nice selection for breakfast. Rooms were well designed and spacious, with a lovely private courtyard. Loved being able to have my dog with me and she was even permitted in the bar and breakfast room (not in main area near breakfast bar, which was fine as I had company to watch her).
