"A excellent stay prior to a flight from Bristol Airport. Restaurant was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks. The staff made you feel welcome. Car parking was great and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. Will definitely stay again."

"Nice basic place to stay. It's a pity there is no vending machines for snacks and drinks or even ice. It was quiet during the night. Shower was very good. I stayed when we were having a heatwave so the room was extremely warm day and night. The fan provided did help thank you"

"A relatively new hotel with very comfortable room and bathroom. AC provision especially great during heat waves. The restaurant is excellent and the food is beautifully cooked and presented. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Area around the hotel is a bit rundown but with a car there are plenty of lovely places to visit in Somerset and Devon. Would recommend staying at this hotel."

"It was a nice property overall, but our room reeked of cigarettes, now my clothes also smell of cigarettes :-( We booked a second room for the rest of the family and that was much nicer. Helpful staff, nice restaurant with a delicious breakfast. Beautiful sunset over the restaurant terrace."

"For an overnight layover on the way down the country, this hotel was adequate. If you're thinking of staying here for more than one night.. think again! The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom could have been stocked a bit better. One small bar of soap and one toilet roll. The bar and 'restaurant' had the feel of a cafe. "Really lovely place. Very quiet and peaceful. A bit off the beaten track but still only half an hour away from Bristol. Really comfortable bed, and I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. I wouldn’t say this if it wasn’t true! Only one minor point is that the shower head was a bit too low for me, as I’m around 6’ tall."

"Extremely friendly and courteous staff, in particular the lady who checked us in and the breakfast team. The hotel is being systematically renovated and the public areas are of a high standard. Our room was clean and well maintained and whilst the bathroom was clean and functional it would have benefited from being renovated. That said, there was nothing seriously wrong with it. "I enjoyed the more tranquil neighborhood of Clifton Village over the city center and it made for a peaceful and quiet stay. The views from the restaurants is spectacular and I loved having easy access to the suspension bridge and observatory. But the hotel itself is a bit worn.
