"This is my third or fourth night staying here in a couple of months. Generally it’s fine for the money. Bare bones. Nice beds. Comfortable. But this last time, the TV remote only worked if I was 3 inches away from the TV and the hot water took about 10 minutes to warm up in the evening. It warmed up right away in the morning."

Hotels are surprisingly expensive in the Norwalk / Stamford area so shopping for a deal is critical. At this price point through Expedia breakfast was NOT included, so a hotel that includes breakfast may be a better value. "1: The rooms do not have a mattress for a bed. They use a futon pad on a platform. These are not only very firm but extremely uncomfortable. I had 3 of the worst nights of sleep in my life, and this was a major contributing factor. They recently remodels all the rooms but cheaped out on the bed. 2: There is a ton of noise from cars and pedestrians nearly around the clock, and the walls are paper thin. "I have had the experience of staying in numerous hotels previously, but unfortunately, the Stamford Suite fell short of expectations, particularly given its location in a city with a high cost of living. My disappointment was palpable. In contrast to the superior accommodations I encountered in some Third World countries, the Stamford Suite left much to be desired. Upon arrival, the front desk personnel failed to greet me, and when I expressed gratitude for the key, I wasn't acknowledged....

"The room was very spacious and appeared clean. However, when we pulled back the bed covers, the sheets were grossly soiled and obviously had not been changed. The front desk staff seemed unconcerned and offered us a clean set of sheets to change ourselves, but made no apology or offer to change rooms. Customer service training seemed to be lacking for the front desk staff. Breakfast had the standard options."

"we booked a room for 4 people with two beds, and they gave us 2 towels, when we asked for more they did not have any and said they ran out of towels. next day we asked again, and got a lot of attitude about asking for an extra 2 towels when we booked it for 4 people."
