I did like the fact that it had a kitchenette with a large fridge and that made it convenient for drinks and snacks. It also had a small stove top but I could only imagine what the room would be like if someone fried food or made something smelly in the room. I thought it was kind of strange in that area. It was kind of noisy on the street outside, sounded like cars racing....

"Pleasant stay overall. Was only there for one night as I was in town for a conference at the convention center. Price was reasonable, considering that most hotels closer to the convention center were way overpriced. The hotel definitely needs some upgrades, including some noise cancelling carpeting. "My room was very small, BUT it was all I needed. Traveling solo this time, out of the room most of the day, no need for extra amenities. Paid less than $100 per day, in San Diego, near all the major sites, excellent deal. Room was clean, staff was most helpful and polite. Unfortunately we did encounter blonde hairs on the mirror (neither of us are blonde ha), and a massive cockroach in the hallway as well as some small stains on the sheets.
