"I had the continental breakfast which was fine but coffee received on my 2nd and 3rd day was not good. The coffee I received on the first day was good. The reception staff only seemed to greet you if you spoke to them. The staff at breakfast were nice and friendly. The room was in need of a makeover and upgrade. There were two lifts but only one working during the whole weekend, and the guests had to share it with the staff transporting food or cleaning supplies. It was a mess. "My friend and I enjoyed a mini break for her 50th. We immediately got upgraded upon arrival. The rooms were fresh, spacious and comfortable. This hotel is situated in the heart of Brighton making eating out a pleasant experience - we were a few minutes walk from the lanes, packed with restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"旅行本に載っていたりクチコミも良かったので予約しました。女性一人旅でコスパ良くしたいため評判の良い朝食を付け、トイレは別のシングルに宿泊。週末は高いので平日にしてロンドンから日帰りでなく１時間で来られるので夕方6時過ぎの列車で来てフィッシュを頂いてからホテルへ。ホテル迄はくだり坂、バス停はほとんど目の前にあるので帰りの上り坂はバス利用。翌日は8時からイングリッシュブレックファストを頂きましたが用意まで時間がかかりま味は普通。部屋はベッドは快適でしたがシャワーの排水が良くなく溢れる心配をしながら、ゆっくり出来ませんでした。頭が窓際で4月末でも寒かった。館内はエレベーターは無し。一人旅で2段ベッドが嫌な方は個室なのでその点はよいのでは？ロンドン連泊で費用がかかりますが日帰りでなうあえて宿泊も節約になりそうです。パビリオンは徒歩圏、セブンシスターズ方面のバスもブライトン駅迄行かずともすぐのバス停から出かけられます、後から知りました！ 設備も年季が入っていてやっと稼働している面もありオーナーもお年なのでいつまでかな？と思いました。"
