"Vi havde det skønt på Judges Lodgings. Vi var der for et kort ophold og værelset blev nærmest booket i toget på vej til York.
Vi boede i hotellets mindste værelse, men her var alt det vi behøvede. Hele hotellet emmer af charme og historie, hvilket vi rigtig godt kan lide.
Morgenmaden var til prisen helt okay. Vi oplevede dog ikke så god service på 2.dagen ved morgenmaden og måtte selv flere gange henvende os til personalet for hjælp.
Der er meget liv omkring hotellet, og det kan vi godt lide.

The hotel is right in the heart of the shambles, as a tourist that’s exactly the area where you want to be. The hotel is like nothing that you ever have experienced before, I can guarantee it. "We had a fantastic stay at The Vanguard in York. Set in a residential area, it’s a well-located base just a 15–20 minute stroll from the city’s main attractions.
The interior was spotless, modern and well-equipped. Self check-in was easy, and communication via WhatsApp was smooth and efficient. The manager was responsive and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay — including arranging parking (on-street or off-street) and a late check-out that made our final day much...
"Very nice people here! It is an old guesthouse so the fact I was on the 3rd was ok, the stairs were solid but narrow so if I had more luggage than a small backpack it would have been hard. No issues with the other floors though. So to restate floor 3, room 10 quaint room for person with very little luggage. "
