"We met a staff person as we entered the hotel. Very odd that there was no front desk. Self service check-in was a bit odd. The room was spacious, clean, but utilitarian and devoid of any kind of charm. Bare bones.
Good location in town, and we were facing the courtyard of the large church next door. (which we toured during a bout of bad weather). Food in the restaurant was uninspired and nothing special.
A good value if you just need a place to sleep, and not spend much time there.

"Omdat er geen airco aanwezig is moesten snachts de ramen open om de slaapkamer enigszins te koelen. Omdat er geen horren voor de ramen zaten, vlogen er binnen de kortste keren 20 vliegen binnen die ons de halve nacht wakker hebben gehouden. Ook op het terras van het hotel waren erg veel vliegen die op ons en het eten zaten."

"Hotel is clean with an a/c to be proud of..it cools unlike other hotels' a/c we've been to in Switzerland (we were there in July '26 during a heat wave)! Great location; close to the train station and many attractions that is Lucerne! The staff are so helpful and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. We will be back not just for the above plusses but also because the staff really made a great impression on us. Thank you, ladies, (stayed July1) for your hospitality!...

"The view during breakfast brunch, which is included was second to none. We were spoiled everyday. The breakfast is also generous, including bacon, eggs and sausage.
The hotel has a lot of information on-site and offers the Niwalden visitor pass. We did not receive this information before our stay, and it would have been helpful to help us navigate when we arrived. If you are arriving from Lucerne train station, call a cab or Uber. It is quick and easy. We tried using transit but the buses from...

"It’s located at convenient location, not far from the lake and shopping area. The pods are really cool and the pod door slides and auto-locks. The bathroom amenities were nice. Overall a great experience"
