""Worst Stay Ever – Completely Uninhabitable! 🚨 Stay Far Away!" I am beyond furious with my recent stay at this hotel. The manager deliberately gave me what had to be the worst room in the entire building, and the service was an absolute joke. Here is why you should never book a room here: * Non-Stop Deafening Noise: My window faced directly into a chaotic construction site. The hammering and drilling pounded through the walls all day long. At night, it didn't get any better because a massive...

"At this price point I expected more. Self check in, additional cost for parking, no breakfast all contributed to making the cost feel high for what it was. Plus no make up of the room nor replenishment of coffee/tea/milk (and no visible way to request that as there were no staff about). Room was nice enough, and clean. Bathroom could have done with reflecting the needs of female travellers (eg feminine hygiene disposal bags?). Easy to get to the city centre / Summertown by bus or on foot...

"A great option for a quick 1-night stay in central Oxford. My top floor room was clean and comfortable, with a new TV, fan, kettle, water and biscuits. The bathroom was perfectly adequate, with a warm shower and towels/toiletries provided. No complaints at all - some of the reviews seem a little unfair. I appreciate it probably gets quite hot in summer, and there was a minor smell in the ground floor entrance hall, but otherwise all was OK. Very fast check-in which was appreciated given I was...

"The property is not located where advertised. It claims to be 1 minute away from the waterside theatre and therefore not far from the train station. This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. However, it turns out it’s around 25 minute walk away from the theatre! As a result, we had to take a couple of Ubers back and forth and thought it only fair the host covers the cost...

"Rooms good and clean although lacking in drawer space for clothes. Bed comfortable but high for short legged people. Staff very nice and attentive. Breakfast more than enough and freshly cooked. Even though there was no black pudding one morning, they cooked some special for my husband and fresh fried eggs for me. Checkout was stated as 11.00am but told by very nice staff the we could stay until 12.00 noon. All told we enjoyed out stay"

"Good value, and nice to have a kitchen. The fittings are fairly new, and everything worked well. There was no documentation with the studio, e.g. nothing to say what to put in each of the four bins (important for non-UK visitors), or what the various switches do (including those in cupboards). My studio was on Cowley road. Despite being on the third floor, it was quite noisy. There didn't appear to be any air conditioning, and my visit coincided with a heat wave, making sleep difficult. The...
