"I travel often to Wolverhampton and had heard that the Hotel was not good; anyway, I decided to give it a go. The bedroom by itself is not bad; the building is not new, and it is outdated ( corridors, stairs, carpet, paint). Not offering breakfast does not give any extra points, but I saw advertised in the Hotel that they will have breakfast soon, and the bar by the entry is fully refurbished and looks good. But when you come in, the hotel smells old. What really upset me was the bathroom. When...

"Avoid booking this apartment at all cost.
Wanted me to transfer money into unsolicited bank account as deposit. Refused to take payment by credit card offering no protection for me as consumer.
Wouldn't allow me access to the property and kept my money.
I'm surprised Expedia allow unscrupulous operators like this in the platform."

"The staff were great, and the building itself was really nice. The café inside was a lovely place to relax and lounge. The only downside was that the surrounding area looked a little rough.
A few things to note before booking: There was extensive construction along the entire street out front, which looked like it would continue throughout November. At night, traffic was bumper-to-bumper for hours. Walking routes that would normally be short took an extra 10 minutes or so to get around the...
