"AVOID! Be warned: a reservation is a suggestion, not a commitment. Arrived for a two night stay and they had no rooms available. That’s what a reservation means. Tried to instead give me a different hotel 30 minutes drive away. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

"We have been visiting here for approximately two years. It is a delight to see a hard working family trying to improve bit by bit to make this into an excellent B&B / Hotel. Yes it is tired in parts, but always clean. Every time we visit we see improvements in decor and the facilities. It is clean, friendly and in a great location, i.e. close to a garage, pub, shop and tourist attractions. As long as the price stays right, we will continue to visit. Thank you and keep up the hard work."

"Manager very attentive upgraded rooms because of an issue with air conditioning. Small fridge would have been a bonus but everything we needed in all our rooms, extra water and condiments in hallway. Fresh fruit was a nice touch. Restaurant was 10/10. The only disheartening incident was being refused Scottish bank notes, it is legal tender, definitely not the welcome we expected. Scotland is still part of the United Kingdom."

"Property easy to find/park and get into
They sent clear instructions of how to get in
Room spacious and clean but the loo did have a mouldy water smell
The only other issue was the room was freezing, there were two radiators but no thermostat.
Shared kitchen was clean and well stocked "

"The property cancelled the booking on the day in the evening.
I was told I would get another booking at not extra cost. This did not happen.
Awful experience this time through Expedia with OYO.
Disrupted my day at work trying to sort out the booking and speak to numerous people on the phone for a long time. Frustrating to waste so much of my time on a Saturday at work - to no avail and no room at the end of all that..!"
