"The hotel was nice, everything was clean and in good shape, however after arriving at 7pm and hoping for an early night we were met with an extremely loud FUN FAIR parked RIGHT in front of the hotel with no prior warning from reception. We were assured it would be shut down by 10pm and it was, however, they then spent 2 hours breaking the whole thing down and were banging and clanging until midnight. Then the street sweepers arrived bright and early around 6am to clean up after them. Not a very...

"We booked to stay at this hotel for 2 nights, we arrived on Friday afternoon and were shown ir room. I had booked a garden room (rooms away from the main building) which I soon realised had been very strategically photographed. The room was big but very dated but we didn’t mind as we would be at a wedding rehearsal that evening and the wedding the next day so little time spent in the room. On initial view I noticed the carpet was really dirty and there was no toilet roll, the member of staff at...

"We really enjoyed our stay even though it was just 1 night. The pub has a lovely cosy feel with real fires and candles on tables in the evening. The room was comfortable with a small sofa to watch TV, although there wasn't much room either side of the bed, this wouldn't put me off staying here again as everything else was so good, there was air conditioning and the shower was was large with good quality fixtures the whole bathroom was spotless. The staff were all friendly, the evening meal and...

"I wanted to know if they could give me a room with a shower tray. No reply. I needed to cancel due to illness and then neither I could get hold of them. As a result I had to pay for a hotel I could not use. Expedia were unable to sort out this issue. Such poor communication means I will not use this hotel ever. I also am disappointed Expedia could not get the hotel to agree to basic customer service like being responsive to customer enquiries"
