"Booked this hotel for 1 night. After arriving at the hotel I was asked to pay for the parking (£10/night) First of all charging hotel guests for the parking is ridiculous but even worse when I’ve heard that if you book the room with hotel directly then parking is free but booked through Expedia is not… the same guest - different treatment. It’s a scam. Room itself was very dirty - all cups and cutlery in the room had stained marks, glasses in the bathroom had still toothpaste residue on them....

"Firstly, location is perfect. Just on the edge of the village and the start of the Llanberis path is right outside, so no driving or parking charges if you intend walking Snowdon on this route.
Staff are very friendly and helpful and breakfast was pretty good. However, the building itself could do with some updating and our room was pretty tired in terms of decor. We stayed in the Coach House building so it might not be the same for other rooms but it looked like the last update was a couple...

"Lovely hotel. Car park was full so had to wait for a space. Breakfast was lovely. Good selection of Hot & cold foods to choose from.
Had Sunday roast beef dinner. Partner had sea bass. Plus a cheeky dessert. Good menu for food & drinks Really fab food. Staff where very smiley and friendly. The Grand stair case was amazing.
Room was very clean Great views over the mountains and water.
Bed was very comfortable. Over all great place to stay. Fab location. Definitely go back."

"The portion sizes were very generous and the food delicious- would highly recommend you eat here if you’re staying, and the breakfast is equally massive. "Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant...
