"The hotel itself was great. We had thought there was a restaurant available for dinner but apparently there was not which was kind of a bummer after driving from Inverness and stopping at Balmoral Castle we didn't really want to go anywhere for dinner. "The check-in process was great, there was a person at reception when we arrived. The room was clean and working apart from the window was broken and took a bit of effort to shut properly. The largest downside was a loud humming noise resonating through the room throughout the day, as if coming from an industrial laundry facility somewhere underground. "This hotel was perfect for our needs for 2 nights. My initial thought was that the outside looked a bit 'tired' but the interior made up for it. Our room was very nice, bright, clean and comfortable. The shower was great with big towels.
