"First and foremost…the staff…hands down the most kindest and welcoming! I forgot the name of the lady that helped us check-in, but she was so warm and bubbly it helped calm our nerves as we had a very chaotic day and were so ready to sleep! "I booked a single room which was basic but had everything I needed for a quick stopover. The hotel is on the flight path so expect to hear the planes! The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with outside seating . Food was good, restaurant staff very friendly. Just a tip (and nothing to do with the hotel) if you book a taxi at the airport from the only taxi supplier to the hotel and back , it’s going to cost best part of £50! "

"Excellent reception experience. The young lady was so very helpful and caring. I am 75 and she was so patient. The only downside is £1.90 for soda water. Most pubs charge 0 or a nominal amount. This is a hotel and there was the service of the water but the profit margin must be enormous and I admit to feeling exploited. However room was very nice as was WiFi. I would recommend and stay again"

"This was very much a last minute job, we were travelling home from 2 days in that London and were worn-out. This was in fact the only place we could find that wasn't either booked up or cost outrageous money. Although, the directions link on the Expedia app took us to the middle of nowhere so we had to phone the lovely people at the hotel for help. When we got there we were surprised it was a much bigger and better place than we expected. Would definitely go again."

"Very comfortable stay at Le Bouchon. Staff were so attentive and helpful. Well appointed room with wall aircon for comfort. Pod coffee maker was a nice touch and to make a change the TV was of a good size to be able to sit up in bed and watch! Breakfast options were so varied and it was all made freshly. Downsides - there was no USB ports in the plug sockets - i luckily had a power bank with me to charge a phone. The toast for breakfast was dry despite butter. "
