"We loved everything about The Belsfield Hotel. We stayed there a few years ago and it was beautiful, but since it has new owners, the staff are happier, the hotel is continually being updated restoring it to it's former glory. Our room was perfect, the breakfast was incredible and the staff couldn't have been nicer with us. We will be returning again later in the year, before we get married there. It's a gorgeous, stunning hotel."

"We loved our stay at the hotel, the room was amazing and the views that came with the room were too. All the staff were really lovely but the lady in reception who dealt with us was especially helpful to us. The breakfast was really nice too. All in all a really nice night away and would recommend."

"What a gem, I have never been to the Lake District before and my jaw dropped the second you pull into the car park. I had made a note that we were celebrating a few special occasions and were given an upgrade I believe and a lovely card when we got to our room. The hotel is really easy to find your way around, nice staff, good food and drinks (malibu sunset was a personal fave). The lamb shank was delicious for a Sunday roast. "Excellent value , very clean accommodation & lovely friendly staff & we were even treated to a Bird of prey display in the morning after breakfast in the beautiful grounds of the hotel . Thank you for a lovely stay & would highly recommend ."

"The accommodation was very good.
The rooms were like small apartments in the grounds of the property & were spacious with a seating area & a balcony overlooking the gardens & the bathroom was clean & well kept.
Nice & quiet position.
Parking for each room directly outside each room.
The signage for the hotel could be a little better as it is only pointing one way so we drove past & had to turn around & go back.
Breakfasts were really good.
Lots of choice with cereals, fruit etc & lots of choice...

"Went with my friends for 4 nights stay, it was lovely, very helpful staff, great breakfast, weather was gorgeous so we didn’t spend the days in the hotel. As we were doing long hikes and exploring all day, didn’t make it to the spa
