"Excellent first rate property, room was perfect facing the quiet garden area. We sat out on the balcony and had coffee and tea in the morning. The night before had a swim and enjoyed the sauna, steam room and pool. Later had a wonderful meal in the ring room. If we’re in the region again, we’ll definitely stay, and hopefully for a little longer!"

"Excellent comfy room with a few minor drawbacks, it was over the main restaurant area so was noisy early on, the water pressure on both hot and cold was poor but the shower was excellent and no toilet roll holder. "A really pretty newly refurbished country pub hotel. The room was lovely and bathroom very clean. Tye staff were really helpful and attentive especially the waitress at breakfast. We had dinner there too which was really nice. We even attended the pub quiz!"

"The room was exceptionally spacious and full of character. Many hotels are a bit soulless but this is far from the case here. The staff were professional, friendly and always with a smile. I've seen a few reviews have commented on 'hidden charges' - breakfast isn't included but this is clear from the very start and there's no pressure to eat here in the morning. If you do, however, the food is excellent (we had dinner) and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"We stayed for an event at UEA and the location was perfect for this. Setting was beautiful in a small village with a river running through -great for an evening stroll. Our bedroom was very very close to the road which becomes a commuter cut through in the mornings. This did lead to some unwelcome traffic noise from around 530am. "

"Enjoyed our stay. Would be nice to park near to the pub, car park is in another field which is a short walk away it seemed safe enough though.
