"For the last 2 times we were checked in by a staff member who was not customer service or caring at all!! Very cold and not willing to help in any way. "The Tempus is such a beautiful hotel. Each room is magnificently decorated, and has a sense of luxury and elegance. The bar and breakfast are ideal and, again, beautifully designed. "Everything and all the staff were really great except for The Linden Tree Pub. Absolutely dire meal there. Would advise giving that a big miss. The Angler's Arms at Weldon Bridge is absolutely fab for evening meal. We all agreed best meal out ever. Breakfast at Linden Hall Restaurant was great too."

"Location is great with lots of free parking options nearby including EV chargers.
The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and warm. On the downside was the fact that our room was just above the pub and on Saturday night was very loud until midnight and we couldn’t sleep. So make sure to ask for a room on higher floor.
Regarding the breakfast one day we had the eggs Benedict which were not good as the hollandaise sauce was too watery, scrambled and bland.
