"One of the owners, an excellent chef, was waiting for me when I finally arrived at ten p.m. after a hellish day of traveling. He waved off my apology, took me straightaway to a perfectly clean, warm room. Wonderful breakfast the next morning. Molto gentile."

"The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't know how to locate parking, as there were no instructions on where the parking lot was, and I had to call the hotel ahead of time to open access to the parking lot. This resulted in a large check-in delay and unnecessary stress. The staff were excellent and helpful which made the stay better than expected."

"This was an excellent choice for a day trip to Cinque Terra. Shert walk to the station and then 10 minutes to start Cinque Terra tour from the north. Much quieter than La Spezia and local secret I think. Right on the beach. The hosts were lovely people and though I booked the day later it was no trouble to change for me. They set a high standard in hospitality."
