"It was loud up until midnight one night, when my flight was at 6am, but the staff and accomodations are high above standard. Great rooftop view as well if you just ask them to open the door for you."

" A very beautiful place with kind hosts, the Riad Adarissa in Fes was a perfect place to introduce us to Morocco. We stayed in the Senior Suite, which was big for the two of us, decorated tastefully and even had a traditional bathing area. The room was well equipped with extra blankets and heat (we stayed during winter). The terrace had a panoramic view of many of the sites in Old Fes, including the Merenid Tombs (closed but you can still see them from afar). The breakfast was truly a continental mix of a Morrocan specialty (e.g., one pancake) and western breads. "

"Riad Laylina is beautiful, clean, has great views, and is in a great location. Mohamad did a superb job making sure we were taken care of. He made a fantastic breakfast, gave recommendations of where to go, and set us up on a tour. The tour was with Abdoul. Abdoul is extremely knowledgeable and knows the history and landmarks of the city very well. I highly recommend taking advantage of the tour, just ask Mohamad and he will set it up."

"This riad was not ideally located for my preferences, as it felt quite far from where I wanted to spend most of my time. If you don’t mind walking through the alleyways to reach the shops within the medina, then the location may work for you. For us, however, it felt a bit inconvenient. Upon arrival, we were taken to a room that was not the one we had reserved. We had booked a quadruple room, but instead were given two separate rooms. While this arrangement might work for some travelers, it didn’t work well for us, as we were separated. We were three travelers with three large suitcases and three carry-ons, and we were expecting a more spacious room—specifically the downstairs room that was shown in the listing photos when we made the reservation. The rooms we received felt small, and we’re still unsure why the original room was not provided. The riad itself is quite outdated, but that didn’t bother me much. It has a vintage feel that fits the character of a traditional riad, and I can appreciate that it has been kept true to its time. Breakfast was simple but very good, and the staff was helpful and kind throughout our stay. Overall, while the riad has charm and friendly service, the location and room arrangement did not meet our expectations."
