However our room was directly above a weed cafe although it says coffee shop you need to buy weed there and all the fumes come into your room if you open the window slightly , also I think it is very expensive $500 a night for a triple room EXCLUDING breakfast . "Perfect location as it is close to the central station. We have booked a canal view room which gives us the perfect Amsterdam picturesque view from our window. "

"Hotel avenue is a 5 minute walk from the Centraal Station. It was very clean and had a comfortable bed. The shower was very small but the bathroom was very modern and clean. This is not a fault of the hotel, but if you use hair conditioner , bring your own. The hotel body/hair soap that is provided is not the best. The room we had was pretty quiet. There is an elevator if you need help with luggage. "
