"The receptionist lady was very help and very friendly the whole reception, halls and rooms where very clean and spacious I think we stayed in 114 and I’ve already booked a 2 night stay 18-20 march although I only stayed last week I’m back in Leicster next week so I’m booked and staying here again "

Highly recommended- safe, clean, lovely complimentary breakfast full of choice and quality, polite friendly and helpful staff, room was full of character and charm, spacious, comfortable, clean and can’t wait for our next visit. Cute and comfortable 4 poster bed. A real gem! The local pub Tollymache Arms was a real treat for dinner. Looking forward to visiting again soon! "

"Absolutely awful. No housekeeping despite our requests during our entire stay. We could not even get a hold of staff as no one was at the reception or restaurant. We had to phone the hotel via the general number online and ask to be put through to the hotel chain. Extremely poor cleanliness, there were stains all over the bedsheets, chairs and a strong odour of urine in the room, carpets and bathroom. Filthy toilet, grubby bedroom and all surfaces were full of stains and spillages. The towels...

"Lady on arrival was very pleasant and helpful, room fine for price and clean. Wish we'd had advance notice of the party in there until midnight but for £54 the place was decent and did the job for an overnight stay."

"The whole unit was exactly as described and expected. Self contained with kettle, fridge and microwave(bonus!). Lovely quiet village area. Very comfortable bed and great ensuite bathroom with excellent and powerful shower cubicle. An optional help yourself breakfast facility is a new concept which we didnt use this time, but thought a great idea. We would definitely stay again as the price is very competitive. One small suggestion would be for a choice of some deeper pillows maybe?"

"This is never a 4 star hotel! I was really disappointed, Expedia said breakfast was included but they don’t even serve breakfast. Waited 20 minutes in the morning to check out and no one was in reception. Another lady also checked out and said her room smelled of smoke and didn’t feel safe in the hotel. The lady when checking in was really nice and accommodating but the hotel itself was really poor! I think it’s more of a 2 star hotel and I won’t stay there again. "

"Wonderful hotel with large comfortable rooms. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Very quiet and the free parking was a real bonus, especially as it's an easy walk to Leicester city centre and other amenities. Fully recommend and will book again for future stays in Leicester."
