The Revel Casino was Atlantic City's premier beachfront casino before it closed down. The initial plan was to build two identical towers side by side but only one tower was completed. The most tragic trivia about the project was that several executives lost their lives when their helicopter crashed going to or from a site where they were to select the glass for the gorgeous facade.
