"Beautiful old property, well presented. Breakfast fine. Disappointing that no water - either hot or cold - the first evening, due to a leak which couldn’t be fixed. These things happen but an apology/ acknowledgment of inconvenience from staff would have been welcome."

"Absolutely charming! The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. "

"We stayed on one of the warmest nights this year. A fan had been put in our room earlier on to ensure it was lovely and cool. The room was a good size. It was clean and quiet. Very comfortable bed. Parking is a plus. Good food in the pub too."

The food was excellent and the dining room service was excellent…..evening meal and breakfast. The views were incredible, the location was beautiful.
