"Lovely pub/restaurant with an accommodation. Room was small, comfortable and quiet. Tea/coffee in room. Freshly cooked full English breakfast was really nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice outdoor areas for when the sun shines. Plenty of room to park. When we stayed the restaurant was very busy and fully booked, so recommend booking in advance to secure a table. Would happily stay here again."

"The building and grounds is steeped in history and is absolutely beautiful. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful in so many ways I can't even begin to tell you as there wouldn't be enough room here! We were upgraded as it was my husbands 40th birthday, which was a lovely surprise, and there was a birthday card and big bar of chocolate waiting in our room (which had premium brands of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits etc etc). We had the pool and sauna etc to ourselves on the first use...
