"Good service."

"The resort is large, and very beautiful. There are loads of restaurant choices, from Subway and pizza to upscale restaurants by famous chefs. We ate dinner at Hell's Kitchen, and it was fantastic. We had lunch at Martha Stewart's Bedford, and it was quite good. The spa is lovely, the pool and hot tubs were sooo relaxing, and Lisa, my masseuse was wonderful. I was there with my sisters, we had adjoining rooms, and we had a fantastic time!"

"Simple property with parking right at the door. Very clean. Very easy check in. Super nice staff."

"The staff- when you could find them tried to be helpful. The walls are thin so we were kept up all night by loud groups on every floor. There is no security and people kept propping stairway door to outside open at night. Our keys cancelled out because staff person who gave us 3 keys did not know room card system can only handle two keys. It took hours to check in - not clear why. Our room had water damage under window."

"Room wasn’t clean. Trash hadn’t been taken out from last guests. Dust on all the surfaces. Wallpaper peeling. My room only resembled the pics on listing. Sage had low battery so didn’t work. I paid in advance for a smoking room and was put in non smoking. Water pressure weak. Tub worked though. Wasted money."

"This is a motel, breakfast is choices of make your own pancakes, bagels, assorted bread, cereals, and blueberry muffins. The cleanliness appeared ok, until I found long strands of hair on 4 of the 5 pillows (2 queen beds) and in the bathtub. "

We asked the front desk for assistance and they told us to just run the water. It did not help. We asked for other rooms, they said they were fully booked and couldn’t accommodate that. They did not do anything to assist, nor did they provide anything to comp us for the terrible smell on our floor and in our rooms, except give us an air freshener spray, but only when we...

"The rooms were musty and smelled like wet dogs."

"My wife and I were very pleased with our stay. The whole place was super clean. There was a fridge full of water, o.j., creamer, bagel variety and other items to snack on such as bananas, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, tea, etc. We met one of the hosts who was wonderful. Various activities and places to eat listed on a white board. Very organized and helpful. Would highly recommend and will be coming back. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Eileen of Mystic. The place is absolutely beautiful, with tasteful paintings and decor. The room was spotless, very comfortable, and inviting. Josh and Erin were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was truly unique and delicious, a highlight of our stay. Overall, the experience felt just like being at home. "My husband,and I frequently stay at this property due to the close proximity of Mohegan Sun Arena. The shuttle service is TOP SHELF!! Though the prices this property charges are much higher than others, we bite the bullet ONLY FOR THE SHUTTLE SERVICE! Now, that being said I have a major problem with the OWNERS of this property! "This is a friendly motel, looks like recently renovated. It offers a great and affordable overnight stay for example for visiting UConn parents (15 min to Campus). There is also a beautiful State Park nearby with hiking, birding and boating options. The reception was friendly and efficient, the room clean and. functional."
