"For the price, the property was great. Only complaint is the staff didn't keep the breakfast stocked. So a bowl of cereal but no milk. When it was pointed out milk and muffins etc. appeared quickly."

"This is a grand old hotel with beautiful woodwork. We've enjoyed staying here several times through the years. It's right on Water Street where the main stores and restaurants are and is a nice little walk to Vesterheim museum."

"It was very new and clean. The staff went above and beyond assisting us with dining options. The breakfast options were excellent. By far the nicest hotel we have stayed at in Decorah. We will definitely stay there every year during our annual family reunion. Highly recommend!!!"
