"Good parking on site with electric charger. Rooms were clean with comfortable bed and very comfy bedding.Breakfast was delicious, both continental and full English available. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Good central location with plenty of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. The rooms have been refurbished and modernised and the hallway was still in the process of being painted. Would highly recommend this hotel and will hopefully get the chance to visit again. "

"The room was clean the bed was comfortable but the shower area needed major repair. The flush button on the toilet was broken,the soap dispenser was broken and the shower doors didn't meet. The door into the room was difficult to unlock. The Hotel needed updating generally."

"Convenient location and clean. Easy checkin with the key available from pub across the road. Had unusual single cup kettle and coffee maker and good selection of teas and coffees. Lights and bathroom tap were on timing sensors and both were a bit annoying particularly the tap when you were trying to fill a jug for the kettle. Bedclothing was a bit tired and there were only 2 fairly flat pillows on a standard size double bed. The thing I really didn’t like though was the musty smell of bedding...

"Great place to stay clean room lovely comfy bed good shower. 2 mins walk from the railway station. 24 hour manned reception good coffee! Would not hesitate to recommend this venue for a convenient night out in Nottingham. Parking 5 mins walk away which was ideal for us with a car. Late checkout was also available after a later night out at reasonable price too. Will definitely stay there again. Shampoo conditioner body wash in the bathroom too if you forget yours!"

"It was lovely. It was quiet and away from people, v close to local amenities and sites. The WiFi is spotty but that is no criticism, it was great to know i could just read a book without constantly checking my screen. Will definitely come again."

"Stay was ok. Family Room: Spacious, even with 2 childrens beds (full single size) set up despite our booking had only 1 child. Big criticism is that those beds were very uncomfortable: basic, hard & no padding, could feel the springs. King size bed was more comfortable though also requiring a thick padded layer. Gave our shoulders pins & needles so we had to use all the spare pillows which we may not have had if the room was correctly made up. Bathroom & main bedroom lighting like floodlights....

"Visited for a 2 night stay visiting family. Room was lovely and fresh and clean. Reception all friendly and helpful. Bar staff very very good. Housekeeping that i bumped into also friendly and polite Didn't actually eat in the restaurant but did have a couple of pints both nights, with some chips, and a choccy brownie with icecream the 2 night. Both delicious. Went as a solo female traveller with mobility issues and felt safe and secure at all times Plan to def stay again in the future "

"Good Front desk were warm, helpful and polite. (Otherwise 1 star) Bad Feels like a 2 or 3 star hotel - not Hilton standard - not worth the price. Small rooms - decor very dated. Upon entering the room...smells of smoke. Tea bags, bottled water and bathroom tissue box not replenished by housekeeping the next day. When requested for on the phone to front desk, no one came in the end. No face towels. Worst of all is the shower drainage - clogged .. yuck."
