He was not only good but made you feel very welcome and spoke personally and passionately about the songs he was playing and gave some history behind them. "The Tiger Inn is a really lovely pub with rooms, in a beautiful area of East Sussex. There's no reception and we had to wait in a fairly long queue at the bar in order to check in, but once we had we found all of the staff really friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and well equipped. We were located right above the 'beer garden' (actually the village green) and it was busy and a bit noisy until the evening. "A lovely hotel with all the facilities except a car park. But there's plenty off parking nearby, so not a problem. Our room was clean, bright and had a wonderful outlook. Definitely worthwhile having a sea view room. The bar was well stocked and the restaurant served top quality food which was cooked to perfection. But a special thanks must go to all the hard working staff that made our short stay most enjoyable. "

"Lovely place, clean and fresh room with heated blanket for those colder evenings, fresh and clean bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities in room well topped up and tv, free parking which is nice and private (although very tight if you have a large vehicle) and loads of choice at breakfast. Little gem of a place, and really good price, I only stayed one night but will definitely book again."

"We liked this Inn the first time we stayed there in May that we decided to book again. Stayed in a different room but was equally happy with the space as the first time. Would highly recommend. Dave and Val are great hosts."
