"Lovely old historic Inn. Rooms traditionally furnished and had some nice welcoming touches. Bar was very cozy. Staff very welcoming. Breakfast freshly cooked. No lift but staff kindly helped us to the top floor with our bags. Our daughter stayed in a ground floor garden room overlooking the beer garden which was also very nicely furnished. Menu looked great but we ate in the Indian restaurant directly opposite which was also excellent. Will stay here again when passing through."

"An excellent hotel. This historic hotel on the A1 near Peterborough is a little gem. Privately owned it has every amenity that you could ask for. The breakfast and dinner are of a very high standard. The team are all friendy and professional. Will definitely be going back."

"This is honestly the best bed and breakfast we’ve ever stayed at! From the moment we arrived, Sam welcomed us with a big smile and made us feel right at home. The room was absolutely stunning—really clean, comfy double bed, and the view was amazing. The ensuite bathroom was great too, and the underfloor heating was such a nice touch!
