"We arrived around 10 pm. The front receptionist was clicking on her computer and looking at her phone. She doesn't look up, greet me, or even say I'll be right with you. After a very uncomfortable ,rude few minutes of her basically ignoring me, and I have my od and card out on the counter, she finally looks up to check me in. Property feels and looks dated. Not very clean, there were mold spots in the shower grout, pool are was not cared for, and 1 elevator was out of service. We were in town...

"The room was very nice. Loved the jetted tub, great shower pressure. The pillows were nice but the bed itself was very firm. If you have back issues like I do the extra firm bed was not nice for my back."

"My room was clean. Staff responsive. Breakfast and sundry amenities were better than the marketing shows. The parking lot is next to the building, but it's an open lot—not "secure" as their marketing claims. The marketing photos show the good parts of the hotel, and there are some. But there is more photo glitz than reality. The lake view is interrupted by a shoddy paved area, and the lake itself is unattractive. "This hotel was very underwhelming. I've stayed at other hotels for the same price or less and have had much better experiences. This hotel is in need of an upgrade. The room wasn't as clean as I would expect. The breakfast left much to be desired. Staff wasn't rude or mean, but wasn't overly friendly either. "iParkit @ 517 Marquette Ave is The most convenient and reasonably priced parking. It id across the street from the side entrance to the Westin. There are metal Rolling doors for the entrance and exit. It is easy to miss the first time. "

"The room was clean, but it was interesting to find a penny on the floor by a trashcan. The hot tub was fantastic. Parking was good despite the construction around the site which will time go away. The breakfast bar was a little short on warm foods. This is my second stay here they have made significant improvement since the first time I stayed here. I would stay here again. "The hotel appears very nice and our first night was just fine even though our kids didn’t use the pool or slide that night. The second night was a zoo. The hotel claims you need wrist bands to be in the pool area and only so many to a room. A basketball team had a few members staying at the hotel which turned into their entire team and extended family being in the pool they were not paying for.
