"We love 1Hotel. This was our fourth visit. However, this visit was different. From the loud music playing until two oclock in the morning, to the garbage left behind outside the entrance to the nightclub, the vibe was not at all what we experienced previously during our trips to Brooklyn. We sincerely hope the decision to use the upstairs floor as a nightclub is reconsidered. Being kept awake by loud music is not acceptable. Also, there was a bag of trash sitting on top of the trashcan for two days.Such a shame for this beautiful hotel. Attention to detail is what made this hotel so special."

"Don't be surprised that you'll pay occupancy taxes for each day, on top of the overall cost. Additionally, nothing at this hotel is free, including bottled water and bag storage. Good location right next to Grand Central. "

"Daily fees are such a money grab. They never restocked our mini fridge so we had about 3 things to choose from for the $10 stipend. Nothing available for the cost of the in room dining credit and must be used before noon. So worthless. Nice big room, comfortable bed, great location… the dispensers in the bathrooms needed restocking. If you have an issue with noise there is a night club on the top floor that is open until 4am on weekends. The front desk staff was awesome about letting us know and putting us on a lower floor but if we were on an upper floor noise would definitely have been an issue."

"Since the last time I stayed at the Moxy, no more than a year the hotel has degraded visible… the gym for instance which is one of the amenities I enjoyed the first time I stayed is poorly taken care, the water filter showed sign of corrosion and it was not working. The room hygiene was also questionable, the toilet poorly cleaned and floor was also dirty. Towels were limited. After this I do not think will be staying again at the Moxy."

"Staff could be friendlier. The common areas seem to be overcrowded by people who are not staying at the hotel, which is fine but something to be mindful of. Overall, this hotel was a 10/10. The staff at the rooftop bar could be friendlier. "

"basic hotel, nothing fancy but nice bed, tv, and bathroom. basic breakfast with a great view, and the people were great. I was visiting with a big bicycle box and they were understanding."
