"We stayed in this hotel a few years ago and the food and service 100 % better. This time the only one buffet/restaurant was opened. The second one had to be booked which was almost impossible to do so. Extremely small food selection and pretty much the same every day. No music on the beach. Rooms extremely outdated with very basic amendments. Only one place to eat and the service not as friendly. Shows very basic. Fitness extremely small and outdated almost no one was using it. Drinks nothing special served in a very small glasses filled up with ice. Very poor service overall for the price. Will not be returning."

"We were at ElCozumeleno in the 2000's and had a great time. What a difference this time. The place is rundown and not managed very well. The hot tubs were bubbling green foam. Charging $40 jf you check in early is rediculous when there isn't anyone in line. The bed linen was illfitted the towels were gray. The food had nothing desirable. A real dissappointment."
