"would be 5 stars for service but its unmanned on arrival. however lovely service at breakfast which full english was delicious. Room 5 on the top floor was perfect - so quiet and relaxing - nice view and the large walk in shower was excellent! bed was so comfy - best sleep for a long time. couldn't get parked as only 5 spaces in private car park but can park just metres away on public road. two minute walk to start of town centre."

"Had a great stay here. Hotel is in a great location, close to lots of shops, town centre etc, but also is quiet and a nice area. Kim (i think it was) was a great host, very helpful indeed! a great stay, will come again "

"Weekend away and our second stay. A nice hotel well situated in Harrogate, the only flaw being the breakfast service which can be described as chaotic at best. Only 2 visible staff members who struggled to clear tables, no pastries, and the bread ran out for toast and keep the service going and this was while the hotel was fully booked over a bank holiday weekend. "

"Positives: Hotel was clean, loads of parking, staff friendly and helpful. Nice pub on the doorstep. Negatives: Breakfast wasn’t great but it was cheap enough, room was very hot, a bit pricey for what it was but demand was high due to a concert in the area. Overall: I’d stay again if I needed to be in the area."

"Staff were very welcoming. Rooms were fine - clean, shower good. Squeaky floor boards & soft bed but what do you expect - it's not a chain hotel. Tasty breakfast. Parking out the back a little tight but its free! But this is really nitpicking. I'd book it again if in York again."

"The hotel is clean and the room was comfortable. Decor is a bit dated in places but for the price paid it was good value. Breakfast was good. I didn't like that parking is not included. It's currently five pounds for 24 hours. I could understand this in a city centre location but this hotel is in a country side location with not much around it."
