This place is overpriced, dirty feeling, dark, and staff assistance non existent. No wifi except piggy backing off the casino. The casino is a small and dingy as well. I do not recommend. 40 min from Reno with the fastest way driving back to 80 in Cali - Truckee.

We stayed on the 8th floor and were told by staff that the nugget is between seasons and adjusting heating and cooling which would take 1 month, so the room ac/heat was adjusting making me sweat in my sleep or cold and shivering. The staff at the sportsbook at the betting table were not that pleasant. ...

Great location, newly renovated hot tubs and outdoor areas. Property is older but very well kept, great place to stay if you want to be on the mountain. Short walk to the village, or shuttle ride every 10 minutes during the day for skiers/boarders.
