"**Excellent New Resort with Outstanding Service** This newer resort, opened in 2024, exceeded our expectations. We spent 10 days here in July and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was spotless, modern, and well maintained. The staff was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every guest feel welcome. The breakfast buffet and bars were excellent, matching or exceeding those at other top resorts we've visited in Cancun. The resort offers several restaurants. Our favorites were **Bordeaux** (French) and **Portofino** (Italian), although all the dining options were very good. The pools were a highlight, with excellent food and bar service. The main pool offered fun activities, while a second pool provided a quieter atmosphere. The only minor drawback was that the pool water was very warm and not especially refreshing. The beach was the biggest disappointment. Despite the staff's constant efforts to remove sargassum, there was still a considerable amount in the water on most days. This is a seasonal regional issue rather than a hotel problem. This is a true resort destination, so plan on spending your time on the property. There is little of interest within walking distance, but with the resort's excellent restaurants, pools, bars, and activities, we never felt the need to leave. Tipping is not expected as it is in the U.S., but it is appreciated. Overall, this was a strong 4.5-star experience, and we would gladly return."

"After 6 years since 2020, ME still has it all with friendliness, clean, good food. This is my family favorite resorts so far. We have been here 3 times in the course of 6 yrs and have tried out other resorts up and down the coast. ME still has all it takes to stay as a 5 stars hotel. This is the review for my whole family since everyone agreed that ME has improved in food, service, activities over time. As for the condition, due to the weather in Cancun, there will be a wear and tear but they have tried to keep it up well especially inside the room. I heard it was built better than MM next door so it withstand the humidity better."

"Our stay at Finest Playa Mujeres exceeded our expectations and was one of our best vacation experiences. The service was outstanding, and every team member made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was exceptional, with Brass, Le Petit Plaisir, and Duke’s standing out as our favorites. We also loved the beautiful beach, the well-maintained facilities, and the complimentary water sports, including kayaking and sailing. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide a small bottle of laundry detergent and a discreet place to dry swimsuits or beachwear. It would make a big difference for guests spending their days between the beach and the pool. We left with wonderful memories and are already talking about coming back."

"The resort is beautiful, never felt crowded, and we always found chairs at the pool and beach. Our oceanfront Sky View Suite with a plunge pool was spacious, and the plunge pool and ocean view were highlights. The room included two stocked mini fridges and full bottles of liquor. Our butler was attentive and handled reservations with ease, and the concierge helped arrange an electric scooter for my mother at a fair price. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The resort isn’t without flaws. Although it feels fairly new, our bathtub was scratched and chipped, there was peeling paint, and the bathrobes and slippers felt inexpensive. We also found a few small spiders in the room. The bathroom sinks are located behind the headboard, so using them can wake the other person. The biggest issue was the food temperature. The flavors were good, but most meals, including fresh omelets and steakhouse dinners, were only lukewarm. Hibachi was excellent because it was cooked fresh and served hot. The shower also never got hotter than lukewarm. The spa treatment was relaxing, but disappointing afterward. We paid nearly $400 per person for a package that advertised an included service, but were told it wasn’t included. Even after showing the resort’s website, staff only said they’d notify management. Some form of compensation would have been appreciated. Overall, the staff and accommodations made the stay enjoyable. With improvements in food temperature, maintenance,"

"I had the most fabulous time at this resort, this hands down is one of the best all inclusive resorts that I've ever been to. From the level of service, to the food quality, the huge variety of restaurants, cafes, and lounges, and even the onsite nightclub, there's something here for everyone. Also the rooms are huge, I originally had booked the lowest tier room and even that felt like a spacious suite, midway through my stay the hotel graciously upgraded my room to a swim out suite which was even more fabulous. Also had a chance to experience their spa and the hydrotherapy facilities and massages were first class. I was initially worried about the sargassum issue that's happening this summer, but thankfully the northern part of quinta roo area is not affected and the beaches and waters were crystal blue and clean. I wish I could give higher stars and recommend anyone to book here for their next vacation. My partner and I cannot wait to come back!"
