"For a good short getaway for family with young kids and seniors, Hard Rock Desaru can be a good option. Morning breakfast has a decent spread. The nearby beach was great with fine sand that was perfect for the kids to play in. One can spot little hermit crabs along the beach as well which kept the kids entertained. Overall, it was a fun and relaxing family getaway with a good mix of beach time, activities, and good food nearby."

"It was great - right by the beach. Breakfast was okay - wasn’t the best but it was good. The range was very good - make sure you have the omelette and french toast! Room was good - air con was cold. The doors don’t close fully so had a few mosquitos. Would defo stay here again!"

Although the place was very old, certain facilities like the swimming pool is still in good condition and there are free.parking facilities available. It is also near to the beach with little crowd. Downside is it is far from town, so need to grab or drive to nearby attractions. The hotel cafe and convenient store is also not very good with limited things to buy and eat."
