"Great place to stay, but I'd recommend renting a car if staying at Bluebeard's. The hill is no joke, and nothing is as close a walk as it looks on Google maps. You can get pretty much anywhere on the island on 20 minutes, but be prepared from steep grades, hairpin turns, and skinny roads. Hotel itself has great views, and even offers a kitchenet (a pleasant surprise). Food at both bar/restaurants is very good, and the staff kicks ass. "We anxiously awaited our stay at Point Pleasant, and it was everything we had hoped. The views were amazing, our villa was cozy. The staff was attentive and helpful. We ate several meals at Sun & Sea Bar and Grill and it was always delicious. There are several great beaches only a short drive away. We hope to return again! "

"My problem was that my bathroom shower drain had hair in it and the floors wasn’t clean. Sticky and slippery. Also if there’s no towels and wash cloths on the rack where they belong look under neath the sink in the cabinet. The room was awesome awesome though. "
