"It was clean. Except the shower didn’t work like it was supposed to. The washing basin slow draining water. We were too tired to call for maintenance. Since we only stayed one night. The in room coffee they provided was very weak. Not good coffee. I think I will bring my own instant coffee next time. The ice machine was broken in our floor. I had to go down to 2nd floor to get ice. Other than that. It wasn’t a bad place to stay. The staff was great."

"I've stayed at the Sakura Inn on multiple occasions. It is centrally located to downtown Los Angeles, and cities in the San Gabriel Valley and San Fernando Valley. The current owners seem indifferent to basic guestroom maintenance. To be specific, I took photos of a loose faucet and a broken door seal, and showed them to the innkeeper. She promised to share my concerns with her husband. During my stay, no one came to inspect my room. On past stays, everything was in good working order and...

"What a pleasant surprise to find this iconic motel! vintage vibe with modern rooms, we would definitely book again. Room 225 was super quiet and away from elevator and pool, but Room 218 for my travel partner was next elevator and was noisy through the night and early morning so I would avoid that room."

"The room smelled like urine, like a dog peed on the rug and it.dried up but not wet vacuumed. Had to air out first few hours. AC was great room got cold. Also book with the hotels site. I got there and hotel would only charge 1/2 of what i paid online."

One of the best things about this hotel is its convenient location. The mall is right next door, and there are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance.
